"Biostar T-Series TA690G AM2 the ultimate on-board graphic
February-2007, Taipei Taiwan
BIOSTAR Microtech Int'l Corp., a professional manufacturer of motherboards has launched T-Series TA690G AM2, based on the latest AMD 690G Chipset with integrated ATI Radeon X1250 graphics. The most distinguishing feature of TA690G AM2 is the on-board graphic with maximum memory share up to 512MB. TA690G AM2 delivers an exceptional experience on an integrated platform. Coupled with the latest AMD processors, the mainboard offers superior performance and reliable visual power for consumer applications. With more display choices than ever before, the T-Series TA690G AM2 is the first model with integrated HDMI, DVI and TV-Out ports, which will meet all the expectations of different customer groups.

The Ultimate Windows Vista Experience
TA690G AM2 delivers a Windows Vista Premium experience through handling the rich Aero user interface and the most demanding workloads with ease. Windows Vista is the first Windows operating system designed to provide a rich, multimedia experience through a visually stunning user interface. And, the TA690G AM2 offers a stable and visually stunning Windows Vista experience.

Best Display Capabilities
And another distinctive feature of Biostar TA690G AM2 is on-board HDMI port. HDMI developed by Sony, Hitachi, Thomson (RCA), Philips, Matsushita (Panasonic), Toshiba and Silicon Image, the High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) has emerged as the connection standard for HDTV and the consumer electronics market. HDMI is the first and only digital interface to combine uncompressed high-definition video, multi-channel audio and intelligent format and command data in a single digital interface. For the end-users, use of a single cable for audio and video dramatically simplifies home theater system installation and eliminates the cable quagmire typically associated with home theater system components. Most importantly, HDMI offers significant advantages over analog A/V connections, including the ability to transmit uncompressed digital video and audio content. Whether it is digital multimedia, 3D gaming, or commercial applications, the Biostar TA690G AM2 is the platform of choice."
