Catalyst Version 7.7

Seit Gestern, dem 19.07.2007, steht der neue Treiber bei ATI zum Download bereit

Vieleicht macht ja unser Häuptling das Laden über Au-Ja möglich, da ja der Server von AMD nur im Schneckentempo arbeitet.

Für XP x64 gibt es auch was

Und leider sind die Probleme mit HD Material noch nicht behoben.

AMD hat Catalyst 7.7 veröffentlicht

Das Grafik- und Chipsatztreiberpaket Catalyst liegt in der Version 7.7 vor. Mit diesem Treiber unterstützt AMD erstmals 12- und 24-fache Kantenglättung bei Grafikkarten der Radeon HD 2900 XT und HD 2600 Baureihen. Die neuen Einstellungen werden durch die Option "Anti-Aliasing Edge Detect Filter" vorgenommen, wobei 4-fache Kantenglättung inklusive Edge Detect Filter laut AMD 12-faches Anti-Aliasing ergibt und 8-fache Kantenglättung inklusive Edge Detect Filter analog hierzu ein 24-faches Anti-Aliasing verwirklicht.

Zudem soll es quer durch die gesamte Radeon HD 2000 Familie Leistungssteigerungen um bis zu 13,2 Prozent im Spiel Far Cry geben und auch die Videobeschelunigung Avivo wurde weiter verbessert. Die Liste der Fehlerbereinigungen sowie der bekannten Fehler findet sich weiter unten in diesem Thread.
